What are the characteristics of Malabar mushrooms?

Malabar mushrooms are available in the form of growkits, i.e. kits designed for microscopic observations of the early stages of development of this variety of Psilocybe cubensis. Basics of development

The Malabar variety develops very quickly under natural conditions. The development of fruiting bodies is optimal at about 21-23 degrees Celsius, but these mushrooms can also successfully cope with higher temperatures. Malabar is an exceptionally prolific variety of P. cubensis (Cuban Coot), so it produces a very abundant crop. The fruiting bodies can be fleshy and quite large. They are distinguished by a relatively small hat, which is set on a long leg and is brown in color. Its surface remains flat until it opens. The stem, on the other hand, is dense and relatively thick. Mature mushrooms have a rather slow bursting roux, from under which spores are shed. It is sometimes left behind even in the case of fully developed fruiting bodies.

Psychedelic properties

The psychoactive properties of Malabar are influenced by the compactness of psilocybin, which is found in the developed form of this variety of coot. In addition to this substance, the mushrooms also contain smaller amounts of psilocin. After potential consumption, the user experiences a number of specific sensations. Consumption of one or another variety of Cuban coot, even in small amounts, induces characteristic changes in mood, affects the senses and affects the perception of consciousness, time or space. These impressions take the form of various experiences accompanying interaction with the environment. Several factors determine their intensity, length or type. In addition to the psilocybin content of the hallucinogenic mushroom itself, age, psychophysical state, personality and other individual characteristics of the user are also important.

Psilocybin is found in mature psychedelic mushrooms, so allowing the fruiting bodies to develop is not allowed. This compound activates serotonin receptors and is a derivative of tryptamine.
