It is important to remember that the possession of mushroom fruiting bodies containing psilocybin is illegal in Poland. In the context of cultivation, it is worth noting that the law prohibits only the cultivation of poppies, hemp, and coca shrubs without permission. Growing other plants or fungi, including Psilocybe cubensis, is not directly regulated by the Drug Prevention Act. However, if such cultivation leads to the production of substances listed as narcotics, it may be considered a legal violation. When growing mycelium for scientific, educational, or collectors' purposes, it is important to be aware of the legal aspects and limitations.
