Yes - we have been running a business in Poland since January 2016 and we pay taxes here :)
Psilocybe cubensis growkits contain mycelium of the Psilocybe cubensis species. Although the fruiting bodies of this species contain psilocybin and psilocin, the mycelium itself does not contain these substances - hence the possession and trade of growkits is in accordance with Polish law. It is important to remember that the possession of mushroom fruiting bodies containing psilocybin is illegal in Poland. In the context of cultivation, it is worth noting that the law prohibits only the cultivation of poppies, hemp, and coca shrubs without permission. Growing other plants or fungi, including Psilocybe cubensis, is not directly regulated by the Drug Prevention Act. However, if such cultivation leads to the production of substances listed as narcotics, it may be considered a legal violation. When growing mycelium for scientific, educational, or collectors' purposes, it is important to be aware of the legal aspects and limitations.
No. In Poland, psilocybin and psilocin (the active compounds in magic mushrooms) are classified as Schedule I substances according to the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction. This means that the possession, distribution, and production of mushrooms containing these substances is illegal and subject to criminal penalties. The law applies specifically to the fruiting bodies (the mushrooms themselves) that contain these psychoactive compounds. It's important to distinguish between the mushrooms containing psilocybin and the mycelium (the vegetative part of the fungus) which generally does not contain significant amounts of these compounds. This distinction is why growkits containing only mycelium can be legally sold in Poland. If you're interested in mycology for scientific or educational purposes, there are many legal mushroom species to study that do not contain controlled substances.
Growkits can be used for various educational and research purposes. They provide an excellent opportunity to observe mycelium development and the life cycle of fungi in controlled conditions. Some specific uses include:
Scientific observation: Study the growth patterns and development stages of mycelium.
Educational purposes: Learn about fungal biology, reproduction methods, and environmental factors influencing mushroom growth.
Collection purposes: Growkits allow enthusiasts to maintain living mycelium collections of various species.
Photography: Document the fascinating process of mycelium development for artistic or educational projects.
We provide growkits for legal educational and collector purposes only. Our customers are responsible for using the products in accordance with the law in their country.
Using a growkit to cultivate psilocybin mushrooms in another country depends on the laws and regulations of that specific country. Each nation has its own regulations regarding psychoactive substances, including psilocybin. In some countries, cultivation, possession, and use of psilocybin mushrooms may be permitted or legalized, while in others they may be strictly prohibited. Before planning to cultivate psilocybin mushrooms abroad, it's important to: Research local laws thoroughly: Make sure you understand the regulations concerning psychoactive substances in the country where you plan to grow them. Consult a lawyer: Consider consulting with a lawyer specializing in drug law in that country to get accurate information and avoid breaking the law. Consider cultural and social differences: Even if the law permits cultivation, local customs and social perceptions may vary, which is worth taking into account. Remember that compliance with local regulations is crucial to avoid potential legal consequences.
We ship parcels daily. If you create and pay for an order on a business day before 1:00 PM, we will most likely be able to ship your package on the same day. Parcels are delivered by InPost, and delivery times within Poland are usually 1-2 business days from the date of shipment.
We understand how important discretion can be for our customers. The parcels we send do not reveal their contents in any way. We ship in standard foil bags or cardboard boxes, and the name of our store is not on the shipping label. Additionally, we do not require you to provide unnecessary data - if you choose delivery to a Parcel Locker, we do not require you to provide your residential address.
All the growkits we offer contain mycelium of the same species - the differences between strains are not particularly significant and you will probably not notice any major differences in their development and cultivation requirements. If you are a beginner or this is your first experience with growkits, we recommend trying Golden Teacher or B+. These strains are considered relatively easy to grow and are known for their stability and resilience, making them a good choice for those starting their mycological journey.
Not necessarily! White spots are usually mycelium growing through the top layer of vermiculite. For an inexperienced person, this sight can deceptively resemble mold. If you're not sure if your growkit is alright, contact us - we'll help dispel any doubts :)
Customer satisfaction is our priority - if something is wrong with the product, contact us via email or through the form. We will try to find a solution that satisfies you. We guarantee the quality of our products - in the rare event of receiving a defective product, we will replace it with a new one free of charge.
Mycelium is a perishable product that requires storage under appropriate conditions - unfortunately, due to our concern for the high quality of the products we offer, we do not accept returns of growkits. However, we make every effort to ensure that our customers receive fully functional products. If you have received a defective product or have concerns about its quality, please contact us - we will help find a satisfactory solution.
