Characteristic features
This mushroom does not differ significantly from other varieties of Psilocybe cubensis. When mature, it has a characteristic cone-shaped cap that grows to a diameter of several centimeters. Its color is usually yellow-brown, but it can also take on other shades. It typically has white, fairly smooth edges. This variety also draws attention with its cylindrical, slender and long stem, usually reaching several centimeters. In the upper part, it has a fibrous veil, and its color is golden-brown. These mushrooms are also characterized by light brown, fan-shaped gills that are relatively thick and noticeably separated from each other. The flesh remains hard and white, and after mechanical crushing or cutting, it changes color to blue. The elliptical shape of the dark brown spores is also noteworthy.
